Movement Standards:

POWER CLEAN: The barbell begins on the ground and must be lifted to the shoulder in one motion.  Touch-and-go is permitted.  No bouncing or dropping and catching the barbell on the rebound.  Once dropped, the barbell must settle on the ground before the athlete begins the next repetition.  A muscle clean, power clean, or split clean may be used as long as the barbell comes to the shoulders in one motion, the hips and knees are fully extended, the feet are in line, and the barbell is clearly over or slightly behind the center of the athlete’s body.  Elbows must clearly break the vertical plane of the barbell when in the front rack position.  A squat clean is not permitted.

BURPEE OVER BAR: The burpee starts with the athletes facing any direction while touching their chest and thighs to the ground, and finishes with the athlete on the other side of the barbell.  There is no requirement to stand tall while getting to the other side of the barbell.  Athletes may jump or step over the barbell to get to the other side.  If an athlete makes contact with the barbell, it will be a “no-rep” and the athlete must repeat the entire repetition for it to count.

Scoring:

There is one score for this event. Teams in each division will be ranked based on the total accumulated total repetitions for the workout. The more repetitions a team earns the higher their ranking.
